i've realized right now, as i'm listening to taking back sunday, that i had forgotten how fucking incredible they are. my blue heaven... speaks to me in ways other songs don't.
we sing and sway, as this tiny voice in my head starts to sing, you are safe, child... you are safe.
so, i go shopping yesterday with 30 dollars. my plan was to buy one book and a cd (envy on the coast, preferably). however, we got to the bookstore and there are so many to choose from. so i ended up getting slaughterhouse-five and breakfast of champions by kurt vonnegut. and then i finally got the issue of AMP with paramore on the cover. it was calling my name. so, no cd. which, they didn't have any good ones anyways, so it all worked out.
i started slaughterhouse-five and the first few pages are really good. i do believe i love vonnegut's work.
i STILL have to read that stupid mythology crap for english. school is only 15 days away, so i better start. i figure if i start the last week of august it will be golden.
i got my schedule.
1st: band - bloss
2nd: economics - dore
3rd: algebra 2 - stirn (grrr.)
4th: french 2 - kremsreiter
5th: gym - schafer.
yay for gym. nottttt.
